Why Martha's Vineyard?

When people ask me about my connection to the Vineyard, I always say “Well, I’ve gone there since my early youth…age 30.” :)

From the first time I started hearing about it, I immediately felt called to it. Once I finally went for myself (shout out Debbie and Nick Fox for getting married there!), I fell in love.

The Vineyard just gets under your skin. There is of course its natural beauty, but I’d argue what really makes it special is its diversity—-among the mix of people who go there, the way you can go from the most remote, isolated beach to the most fabulous restaurant, to the actual topography of the island itself.

I admit, nothing about the Vineyard is easy—it’s a pain in the ass to get to, it’s expensive, there are weird rules for which beaches you can go to—I could go on and on, and for all that I apologize in advance!

But like all the best places, I promise it’s worth the shlep.
